About Mechanix Wear

Started in 1991, Mechanix Wear manufactures hand protection and protective gear for a variety of working environments. Mechanix Wear is based out of Valencia, CA, where they design and manufacture all of their products, with a product line that includes shop gloves, driving gloves, heat sleeves, knee pads, gear bags, and more.

Although the original Mechanix glove was designed for motorcycle mechanics for the then AXO Sport company the demand and need was so great it became its own company and today makes seventy types of gloves.
