Quality and safety are undoubtedly necessary in a suspension system and GE Engineer Claude Pemberton and Oldsmobile Toronado developer Don Perkins recognized this was essential in a car’s suspension system so they took it upon themselves in 1949 to correct the then problem of sagging springs. Hence the creation of the inimitable Air Lift Company and the start of a remarkable history in innovation.

The success of full air suspension in mini-trucks offered Air Lift yet another opportunity to introduce a product that was second to none with compressor system technology, air springs and air struts.
