HKS specializes in aftermarket high-performance auto parts engineering and manufacturing. It is one of the most well-known aftermarket brands in the world. In just the short period of a year Mr. Hasegawa designed and built the first aftermarket turbocharger for passenger cars and introduced the world’s first turbo kit for the SKYLINE L20 engine and now the rest is history. HKS has a compilation of firsts to its credit earning the company its coveted premier place in the aftermarket performance industry by introducing such impressive products as the first commercially available electronic turbo timer and booster controller, the piggy back fuel computers and sophisticated fuel management tools.
