The UTCA034s heavy-duty construction eliminates control arm flex, giving you much improved repeatability on the street, starting line, or in the corners. BMRs polyurethane bushings are designed to be compliant enough to give you a comfortable ride and absorb NVH, while remaining firm enough to stand up to high loads of any performance environment. The bushings easily handle the high compression loads of hard launches and hard acceleration, yet offer plenty of articulation for great handling. The adjustable design allows for fine-tuning of the pinion angle for proper driveline alignment. These are the perfect upgrade for the enthusiast looking to improve performance, while maintaining acceptable NVH levels and ride quality. Launching harder, reducing wheel hop, and adding cornering consistency to your 9-inch equipped 2011-2014 Ford Mustang is easy with an upper control arm from BMR's suspension. Stock control arms with soft rubber bushings deflect under load and absorb power instead of transferring it to the tires. BMRs polyurethane, on-car adjustable tubular control arm for S197 Mustangs (UTCA034) is manufactured from heavy-duty 1 5/8 inch, 0.120-inch wall DOM steel tubing. The center adjuster is CNC-machined from chrome-moly steel with rolled threads for the ultimate in strength and durability. The arms feature TIG-welded chrome-moly tube adapters. This design gives you a strong control arm that greatly improves performance. Two-inch greasable, 95-durometer bushings add a solid, more responsive feel over the stock rubber bushings. BMRs bushings are internally fluted, which keeps grease in the bushing, even under heavy load. These flutes also direct grease to the outer edge of the bushing, keeping the thrust surface lubricated. This efficient lubrication ensures quiet, reliable operation over the life of the bushings.BMR's suspension designed the UTCA034 to work well in street performance, drag race, and road race applications. The stock control arm flexes under even light cornering loads giving you inconsistent handling characteristics.
The single upper control arm is responsible for maintaining pinion angle and preventing axle counter-rotation. This 3 link style suspension is ideal for autocross and road race applications as it allows the most articulation possible with a solid axle. For drag racing, however, the single, centered link becomes a weak point as the arm is only one inch thick in the middle and made from light gauge, stamped steel. The BMR upper control arm (UTCA034) is made from 1 5/8 x .120 wall DOM tube and is MIG welded. We use the largest adjuster in the industry, 1-1/8, for a bulletproof combination.
BMR uses internally fluted high-durometer polyurethane bushings. Pumping grease into the external grease fitting forces the grease between the bushings, through the internal flutes and outward to the thrust surfaces of the bushing. This insures that all surfaces of the bushing are properly lubed by simply pumping grease into one fitting.
BMR strongly recommends upgrading the stock Upper Control Arm Mount when utilizing an aftermarket Upper Arm on S197 Mustangs. Clunking noise may become present without an upgraded Upper Control Arm Mount. The correct part # for this application is UCM002.

Cancellations: Instock orders cannot be canceled due to our automated ordering & fast shipping system. To keep our prices low, all cancelations are subject to a 5% cancelation fee to cover transaction processing fees. We reserve the right to charge up to a 10% cancellation fee for cancelled orders due to merchant fees, Special Order fees and the cost of processing and shipping orders.When you request a cancellation of an order or a part, please note that it may take time for a manufacturer to cancel an order if the order is drop-shipped. Returns: We cannot accept returns on parts that have been used or installed. No returns will be accepted after 30 days. All Returns must be in original packaging. Prior authorization must be given before any return can be made. Up to a 25% Restocking Fee may apply. Special Orders may be subject to Additional Manufacturer Restock Fees as well. Shipping cost will not be refunded.Hoods as well as PCM Programmers may not be returned unless defective and only for replacement. Lost Order Claims All lost order/package claims must be made within 5 days of the shipping date or tracking information delivery date. All claimes made after this date will not be accepted due to Shipping companies policies of filing loss claims.
Damaged Items or Incorrect Items: Please contact us right away if your item has been damaged in shipping or are incorrect. Please note that we will ship replacement items the same method of shipping the order was originally placed for. LMPerformance can not ship packages overnight at our cost if the original shipping was not also overnight. Claims must be filed in order for replacement parts to be shipped.
Warranties:Any warranty claims must be placed with the manufacturer. All of the products sold by LMPerformance, regardless of the manufacturer, are designed for Racing and Performance applications. Many of our manufacturers offer NO WARRANTY on their products, either stated or implied, due to the unusual stresses placed on the parts and because we have no control over how they are installed and used.
