D-Mat solves the need for a lightweight heat barrier and insulation for headliners, doors, trunks, rear bulk heads & more. Advanced Thermal-Acoustic insulation designed for under head liners, doors, package trays and other areas. Extremely light weight and pliable D-Mat is the perfect choice for these areas. At only 12MM thick, compressible and pliable, D-Mat can be used in even the most difficult areas to insulate providing thermal protection and keeping your interior cool. Made from a polymer blend with a scrim backing D-Mat can be used in applications up to 325°F while showing up to an 65% reduction in heat. D-Mat has exceptional acoustic absorption, meets flammability rating and is mildew and bacteria resistant. D-Mat is recommended for all high performance applications including show vehicles, project cars and trucks, muscle cars, street rods and vintage vehicles, most any application or location except for the floor where Boom Mat's Under Carpet Lite is preferable.
