ST SUSPENSIONS (SUSPENSION TECHNIQUES) knew that the anti-sway bar in a vehicle prevented body lean when the vehicle is turning by applying force to the suspension on each side, upward on one side and downward on the other to resist leaning and they knew this was particularly important in a high performance vehicle and in a racing situation. The team at ST SUSPENSIONS (SUSPENSION TECHNIQUES} also knew that cars that undergo excessive turning forces must maximize tire grip especially on smooth roads and in order to do this they need large, strong sway bars and this is especially true of high power cars like the Mustang or Firebird and they set about designing anti-sway bars that would do just that.
