About Carrillo

In your search for the right piston and rod consider a company that has been in the arena since 1963 and who has progressed through the years in the designing and manufacturing of pistons and rods. CP-Carrillo is certainly such a company with a first-class manufacturing plant in Irvine, California, whose main goal is to give their customers only premier performing products, a philosophy that has achieved for them a coveted place in the industry.

The inspection process at CP-Carrillo is not a simple one but is conducted on many levels and the superior quality control programs are designed to guarantee you a piston or rod of only the best quality. Having the most up-to-date climate controlled inspection department and outstanding computerized electronic equipment further assures a product you can depend on regardless of your driving needs. And ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 9001:2008 awards attest to this fact and gives you assurance that the product you buy meets these rigorous standards.

CP-Carillo knows that racing engines need primo pistons and in order to give them what they deserve CP-Carrillo has designed departments to meet the needs necessary to give you the best and to surpass the competition. CP-Carrillo developed not just one department but several including a Reverse Engineering Department, Design Experience and Flexibility Department, and an Analysis and R&D Department all with specific duties and experience to get the job done right. And they didn‘t stop there but decided that to get the job done they would need that little extra like forgings specific to certain applications, and their own treated wrist pins and rings designed specifically to meet their needs.

And the CP-Carrillo Connecting Rods are definitely not lacking when it comes to quality and design because they too are designed and manufactured with care toward material selection, the forging process, expert production and design. They are constantly seeking to improve and add to their line as is evident in the introduction of the CP-Carrillo aluminum line of connecting rods for Alcohol and Fuel Markets in 2012 and the introduction of the Bullet Series line of connecting rods in 2014
