I typically don't write reviews but was so impressed with the service and fast delivery by LMPerformance that I felt compelled to write one. I had been inquiring on a Borla ATAK cat-back system for my 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic 5.7L for a while and found LMPerformance's website due to their low price. I will admit I was a bit hesitant at first as I worried if this was a legitimate company and website. However, after reading numerous positive reviews from the company's customers I took a chance and purchased my exhaust from LMPeformance and couldn't be happier. I purchased my exhaust system on Tues and received my package with free shipping on Thurs and had my exhaust installed by Sat. From purchase to installation only 5 days! I debated back and forth between Flowmaster Super 40's or Borla ATAK for my Challenger. I had Flowmaster's on my Toyota Tundra which were nice but given that I wanted more hp from my Challenger and not just a nice sound, I went with Borla. For those choosing the Borla ATAK you will DEF feel a difference the first time you let those ponies loose! Be warned however; the ATAK's are designed to be super aggressive and are loud. You might as well rip out your radio because all you will want to hear is the sound of American Muscle screaming through those pipes everytime you drive! I will be using LMPerformance again in the near future and highly recommend them to ANYONE!

This is my first time ordering from LMPerformance for my Toyota Corolla XRS. I thought it would take at least a week for the item go arrive due to their warehouse being in Florida. But, to my astonishment, the item was on its way to me in the southwest before I had a chance to check the tracking! I was unaware they had a facility to serve the western US so got my two days after I ordered! I received my system, with a cool Borla hat in the box as well, and installed it myself in a half hour, with they lion?s share of the time devoted to allowing a few sprays of WD 40 to penetrate the bracket bolts. After the easy installation, I now enjoy a bassey tone, especially on the overrun to lower RPM and a DEFINATE and NOTICIBLE performance improvement! Thank s LMPerformance!

Haven't had a chance to install the product yet, this review is for lmp service. The original shipment was damaged by FedEx in the shipping process. One email to lmperformance and they were on it, filed a claim and immediately sent out a new system. Within a week I had the new exhaust before FedEX had even got their stuff together and picked up the damaged one. A++ for lmperformance customer service. Good call on sending second package with UPS, no damage at all. Will install later this week and leave review on the exhaust.

First off the shipping was by far unbelievably quick! Ordered on Friday and received Saturday FedEx! Delivered in great shape, no box damage and no parts missing. Had it insatlled by my dealer and they said very easy installation. Hardest part was getting stock exhaust off. As for the sound, I absoluetly love it. Definitely makes the car sound mean! Great rumble on start-up and even better on revs. Inside cabin sound is barely noticable. Exhaust tips really look awesome on the car. Excellent product and highly recommended!

The sound is absolutely fantastic, especially when you get on it. At idle you can tell they're a little louder than stock but at the same time what your mustang should sound like in the first place. Then you take off from a dead stop, hearing the exhaust starting to growl you step on the gas and they start too open up, shifting gears they continue to roar and when you finally get to a steady cruise speed they almost completely go quiet, until you either downshift or step on the gas again to open them back up. Don't be scared to get this exhaust for your mustang, they sound great just like muscle car should even if its only a v6.

If you are looking for deeper and louder exhaust for your Lotus this is the one for you. I've tried stock and one other exhaust system that you could hear backfires and way too many burbles from...the Borla was perfect for my car. When you are just tooling around it's not too loud but when you engage the second Cam and put your foot into it you get incredible deep sound that Borla is famous for. Definitely recommend!!

I installed these in under an hour using a 3/8 drive ratchet using a 9/16 and 15mm socket and of course some WD40. A couple tips for the installation, spray the rubber support hangers with WD40 (my car is new so didn''t need to spray the clamp bolts), unbolt the clamp and remove bolt completely, once you get the muffler separated from the rest of the exhaust you will now need to wrestle it off of the rubber hangers, while under the car I used what I had next to me to prop up the exhaust using the can WD40, push the remaining exhaust pipe up as far as you can and place the "can" between the exhaust pipe and the black support brace it goes over, this will keep it up out of the way while you wrangle the muffler off of the rubber hangers, you may also loosen the rubber hanger bracket to give you some flexibility with getting the old muffler out and then installing the new one, once you have the new muffler supported by the rubber hangers you can now pop the can of WD40 (or similar wedge) out allowing the exhaust to come down and mate with the muffler, the clamps are tacked onto the old muffler but are easily removed with a back and forth motion, install the clamps and while tightening make sure to adjust the muffler for proper fitment at the Chrome tip. Just wanted to give some added shade tree mechanic tips. The difference in sound is very subtle at idle but when you mash the pedal the aggressive sound will put a smile on your face, the sound is pure and well...AWESOME!!! No drone detected at any rpm and the tips look great unlike others where the tip is 4" and yet when you look in the tip you see the 2 1/2 inch tailpipe which makes it look fake these tips are 4" nearly all the way to the muffler. Hope the tips help! Also note that other places sell this exhaust for up to $849 so at $731 with free shipping is a great deal, thanks LMPerformance!!! I ordered these on Thursday and they were at my door on Friday

WOW!! The best buy I have made for any vehicle to date. I am on my second Gen 5 Camaro. I put an axel-back SLP LoudMouth I on my previous V6 Camaro RS (2LT). Way too loud! I was terrified to make the same mistake on my new 2011 SS. After four months of debating I settled on the Borla Cat-Back 'S-type' and I am really impressed! I love it. The install took me almost exactly 3 hours. Getting the massive GM mufflers out of the rubber holders was the biggest pain of the hole process. Once they were free, installing the Borla pipes and exhaust was a smooth, easy process. At start up, the 'S-Type' had the perfect exhaust note and on the test drive the growl was just a dream. Minimal cabin noise, just enough to feel like you are driving a Camaro but no interfearance with the radio and I could talk on the phone if I needed. I have a lot of experience with modifying cars for the street and the track and this is my first time buying a Borla exhaust, I will never buy any other exhaust. I am extremely impressed. I have placed all of my Camaro upgrades through LMPerformance and love them! I have never paid for shipping and my orders have never taken more than three days to arrive at my doorstep from the date I placed the order online. The prices are unbeatable. Advice: When removing your stock exhaust and installing your Borla, have a spray bottle filled with water and ((a few)) drops of dish soap (don't over-do-it) to spray on those rubber mounts. I used four 3-ton jack stands and a 3-ton hydrolic lift for this project. I advise you to have a 1/2" 15mm deep drive before starting the project. The deep drive will be needed to tighten the pipe clamps on the Cat-Back. I can't speak for the Axel-Back.

First off I ordered the part on a Friday at 10am. It came the next day at noon. Payed no extra for shipping or anything and I live in AL. Put the exhaust on in my garage. Tools needed, a 17mm socket. All hangers lined up with stock rubber mounts. Looks and sounds great. Any further parts needed will deff be ordered from LMPreformance.

Was looking for a stainless steel replacement for the bulky stock exhaust on my wife's 2011 Camaro V6. Looking for a better sound but not too loud. Have replaced other vehicles with Flowmaster exhausts. Searched alot of sound bites on the internet of different exhausts on the V6 camaro. Decided to go witht he Borla system because of the type of stainless they use, the engineering behind the system, and the sound. This is for my wife's daily driver and she is completely satisfied with the system's sound. It was simple to put on altough I spend quite a bit of time getting them centered in the cutout of the car's rear end. I am impressed with the clamps, as well. Much better than those you buy at your local store. Read the instructions carefully as I was a bit confused at where to measure the old system from to cut it. I video'd the sound before and after and will be putting it on the web shortly. LMPerformance had the best price by far from my extensive search. Shipping was quick as well. Highly recommended.

Great muscle car growl, and noticeable performance increase. I put this on prior to installing the x pipe and sounds great with stock h pipe or aftermarket x pipe. VERY loud when used with the Bassani cat-less off road x pipe so use caution when driving near police as i have been pulled over already and have had less than a week. First off, LMP had this item shipped the same day I ordered it. It showed up two days later in great condition. I installed the borla cat back system in about two and half hours. The directions are great. Now for the important part. I debated for months which exhaust I was going to get and I am really happy I chose the borla stingers. I wanted and exhaust that was louder then stock but not to loud. Borla delivered a deep tone and a great quality sound. Keep in mind I have the stock H pipe on for now. I think it sounds great and couldn't be happier! There is some resonance at about 2000 RPM's but over all it sounds clean and crisp! A little popping when decelerating but that is to be expected with a high flow exhaust. Overall rating Excellent! Thanks LMP for making my first upgrade a memorable one. I will definately keep shopping here at LMP Performance!

This cat-back is a great choice if you want your car to sound louder than stock without being deafening or obnoxious. I have the stock downpipe on my WRX, but once I get an aftermarket one I know it will sound a bit louder. The tone is VERY deep and rich sounding; it sounds like a really expensive exhaust, no fart can here. Also, this is an important piece of information, this exhaust fits WRX''s also, which I can attest to from calling Borla and having this on my car. They somehow have made the mistake (and probably lost some sales) by saying on their site that it only fits the STi. So: it fits the 02-07 WRXs, sedan and wagon as well.

Bought the borla s type exhaust mostly for the sound. I do not normally keep my vehicles for more than 3 -4 years so I thought is was pointless for me to get the full cat back system. I am VERY happy with this product. It was easy to install as long as you have a little know how and a couple of common tools. The sound is unbelievable. At full throttle, it lets you and anyone around you know that you are coming(or going!). At cruising speed it has just a small hint of "drone" sound in the cabin, but listening to the radio, carrying on a conversation, or talking on the phone is no problem at all. I would highly reccomend this to anyone on a limited budget or someone just looking for an awesome exhaust note!

Reviews on the exhaust: Low end torques= has no losses or gains still the same as when i just had my CB-II simota SRI (which is good, several members reported losses in low end torque) Mid range= definitely there are gains, improves fuel economy (as you don't have to step on the gas pedal to much or press in too much) Top end= i haven't tried it much yet, but definitely there is a gain that is noticeable Decibel/Sound of exhuast very low tone, quiet on idle and cruising (which is really good it doesn't grab any attention when driving regularly) droning is very minimal or almost non (not irritating even if you are the passenger at the rear seat) The best of it, is that i gain 1-2 mpg which bump me to 31-32mpg.. usually i am at 29.2 mpg average.

This exhaust was everything they claim it to be. The sound is amazing first of all, a lot of people were complaining about the smaller ID of the system, however my expirience with Honda's and exhaust systems especially the NA Honda's the bigger the pipe diameter makes the engine lose low end torque not that the Honda 4 cylinder is a torque monster by any means but this exhaust has increase in HP across the board and noticeably just by driving the car!!!! If you are looking for an awesome all-around exhaust and don't want the raspy ricer sound this is for you!!!!!!! 100% satisfied The only draw back to this exhaust system is the wait time, because the volume of sales on this system they fabricate when ordered, but other than that a 10 in my book!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is not the loudest single exhaust on the market for the v6, but after hearing alot of over choices from Magnaflow, Ford Racing, Mac, JBA and many others I feel it is the best classic sounded single exhaust for the v6 Mustang. The only thing better would be the dual version. Borla Kicks ass! Next Mod : JBA headers, BBK CAI w/SCT tuner.

I sent this to the salesman who took my order, and he suggested I post it as a review. Here it is with a few minor edits:

I wanted to let you know that the Borla exhaust system I purchased from you arrived in good shape, and I have installed it.

When I ordered it, there was some question about whether this system, which Borla describes being for the 2003 Thunderbird, would fit the 2005 Thunderbird that I own. I had read on several Thunderbird forums that it would fit, but you may have to adjust (bend) a heat-shield on the car to keep it from interfering. That's exactly what I encountered. The heat-shield is made of such thin material however, that it was no trouble at all to adjust it for a good fit. A few carefully placed blows with a gloved hand were all it took.

The heat-shield in question is in the approximate middle of the car, where the two stock mufflers are. The new unified muffler on the Borla system simply needs a little more room under the car. The rest of the installation was a snap, and the whole job only took about four hours including jacking up the rear of the car to make room to work. The stock exhaust comes of in one piece.

I have no plans to put a Borla exhaust on my 2004 Bird, but it appears the system would go on exactly the same as the 2005.

I love the sound of this system. It's a very nice rumble at startup, and gets pleasantly louder on hard acceleration. There is little difference in the exhaust noise at highway speed however, which is a plus for me. I didn't want the car to become an annoying road-trip vehicle.

Borla is the only way to go on a Cobra DOHC Motor. it is clean, deep crisp and just plain mean sounding. Took 30 minutes to install and looks amazing. If you want you Cobra to sound like the Muscle it is go with the Stingers that I bought. Arrive at my Front door step in two. Thanks LMP

Review:
With the intake and this exhaust it is a great pleasure to drive. It runs very strong while acheving 28 to 32.5 mpg. Average 25 mpg. Its a economy car. No but this exhaust flows very free and has a great sound. It can be a little loud with the top down, or during hard exceleration but at hwy speeds in 6th gear it is plesent. You can play it on exceleration and decel. From 3000 rpm down you can blip the throttle and do wonderfull things. It to me is a great exhaust for my electron blue vette.

Review:
This cat back system is great. Complete 304 stainless, smooth mandrel bends and all the hangers in the right spots. It took exactly 1 hour to remove the old, and install the new Borla. With a few minor adjustments to get the tips just right, we were done. The only other thing left was to fire that 6.0 liter up to see how she sounded. The sound was more than i could ever have expected. Smooth, deep, throaty rumble at idle and the rest you would have to hear for youself. SWEET!!! This is truly a quality built system from the materials used right down to the welds and the stainless band clamps. SUPERB. Without actually dynoing the vehicle it is hard to estimate the performance increase but it is SUBSTANTIAL, VERY SUBSTANTIAL.

It was quieter than expected so if your looking for somthing to wake the whole neighbor hood up these are not what you are looking for. but they are not quiet by any means. has a good deep idle and then a roar when you get on it! good exaust overall

I just got back from the installer and the muffler is a must have if you don't want to get a whole exhaust system. Sounds really really nice and strong. I'm very happy with after doing reviews for Flowmaster and magnaflow; borla came first on all. Also, I want to congratulate Lmperformance.com for the great experience; FREE next day delivery i got!
