About Koni

We also have Bilstein Sport Shocks here for another reputable company providing quality performance parts.

About Koni

KONI has a long and colorful history starting in 1857 in the Netherlands and was not a shock absorber manufacturer at its onset but made leather equipment for horses and then prior to World War II it began designing and manufacturing a friction type shock absorber and finally after the war it initiated work on the telescopic shock absorber. Later, KONI began to view racing as an avenue that would advance the company’s presence in the automotive industry and consequently participated in an international rally and thus was the start of the KONI presence in the sport of racing until finally winning the World Championship with Tyrell Ford at the wheel winning the driver’s and construction championships and the rest is history. KONI has dedicated itself to the task of improving damping for racing purposes but it has not stopped there and has gone on to improve damping in commercial vehicles as well as things like bridges--no job is too big for KONI and its experts and now KONI has a presence in a potpourri of conveyances and industrial applications being used under the most extreme conditions and are touted to be first when it comes to the designing and manufacturing of shock absorbers and suspension systems.

As a testament to its success in 1972 it became part of the globally diversified industrial company ITT who has a customer base in about one hundred twenty-five countries around the world and is one of the leading manufacturers of energy, transportation and industrial solutions. When you purchase a KONI product you can be certain that a great deal of expertise has gone into the making of that product whether it be in design, manufacturing or testing because a company cannot exist in such a competitive marketplace without providing a quality product that satisfies their customer and they certainly can’t become one of the leaders in the industry. Whether you choose the Gold, Yellow, Orange or Red KONI shocks for sale on the LMPERFORMANCE web site ,know that the difference is not in the color but in the unique driving experience each is designed to provide because KONI makes every color of SANS PARIEL quality, they just want to give you the ability to choose the one that best suits your driving situation.

For over 150 years, KONI has been the premier manufacturer of performance and adjustable Koni sport shocks in the world. KONI shocks introduced the industry's very first adjustable shock absorber, electronic drag racing shocks and today's patented FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) street shocks. KONI suspension kits are made from the highest quality raw materials and machined to the highest tolerances. This quality is represented not only by KONI's long heritage in motorsports but has also afforded KONI shocks the ability to offer a limited lifetime warranty on many of its shocks.

The K & N 57 series Intake Kits for your model OPEL are impressively better than your stock filters because of their large, conical filter that afford increased air flow and less heat because of the isolation from high engine temperatures. Additionally, the use of tubes that are specifically designed for each application allows for precise tube shape and as a consequence there is increased air flow, all of which results in more power to your engine. Another high performance intake kit from K & N, the Typhoon, guarantees greater horsepower and acceleration than your old factory installed system resulting from its aluminum construction, oversized High Flow and mandrel bent tubes . For the OPEL driver who doesn't need this kind of performance but still wants a better working filter K&N offers their handmade air filters that can be washed and reused, lasting up to 50,000 miles before they need cleaning and providing excellent filtration and air flow. Whichever you choose, the Intake Kit or the Filter alone you will see the improvement in your OPEL, engine.
