About DeWitts

Have you had the experience of steam pouring out of your car or maybe seen this happen to someone along the highway? Well you guessed it, a faulty radiator is the culprit and the team at DeWitts is here to make sure this never happens to your car. They realize that the radiator is an integral part of any car’s coolant system and this is especially true of a performance car that functions at top speeds. The friction that results from your car’s cacophony of moving parts is the miscreant in this case because friction results in excess heat energy. Lucky for you, this can all be avoided with a radiator from a reputable manufacturer and DeWitts fits the bill when it comes to a quality, dependable radiator.

Those owners who operate their cars at higher horsepower don’t have to worry because DeWitts understands heat load and they have test results on each radiator’s heat rejection and have published that rating comparing it to the factory unity. In the majority of cases DeWitts double row radiators are a 30% increase in heat rejection and that is no small gain and if you supplement this with an electric fan you can boost that number an additional 10%..You don’t have to worry about fit when it comes to a DeWitts radiator since they hold the official U. S. trademark for the term Direct Fit and this assures you that each and every DeWitts aluminum radiator is designed to specifically fit the listed application without the need for any modifications to your vehicle. As a bonus if you have a car that was manufactured after 1983 you will find that the DeWitts radiator are manufactured as double row radiators and consequently can hold one additional gallon of fluid over your factory installed radiator.

For those car aficionados who want even more cooling capability because of the demands of their particular driving situation the DeWitts radiators are available with 1.25 inch pipes providing approximately 10% additional cooling capability but remember a double row core, already on the radiator, is equal to a five row copper unit and is almost double the heat rejection of a single row aluminum unit. So you may find the 1.25 inch tubes totally unnecessary. An important thing to consider when choosing any product is where and how it is manufactured and you won’t go wrong with DeWitts because the aluminum radiators are made in the USA in Michigan where they can oversee 100% of the manufacturing process. They thought of quality of product first when they chose a CAB brazing furnace allowing them to produce a primo aluminum core second to none. Having fifteen years of experience building Direct Fit radiators beginning with Corvette radiators gives them a wealth of knowledge when it comes to product design and manufacturing. Give your high performance vehicle the cooling it needs for your high performance driving with a DeWitts radiator and see what a difference a cool engine can mean.

These are some of the items you can find at LMPerformance for your Ford

The Ford Motor Company, founded by Henry Ford on June 16, 1903 and based in Dearborn, Michigan, is an American automaker and the world's fifth largest automaker based on worldwide vehicle sales. It is one of the most profitable companies in the world, as well as being one of the few to survive the Great Depression and it is the largest family-controlled company in the world, having been in continuous family control for over 110 years. Ford now encompasses two brands: Ford and Lincoln. Late Model Performance can provide parts for 54 models of these American icons whether for street use, racing or off-road the answer to your quest is here.

The quintessential Mustang is well represented at Late Model Performance with a capacious array of parts for chassis and suspension, drive train and transmission, electronics and tuners, interior and exterior accessories, engine components, exhausts, gauges, lighting and induction parts. With body kits from Street Scene, 3dCarbon, RK Sport, Xenon, DURAFLEX, Couture, Carbon Creations the proud Mustang owner has a wide array of types of kits to choose from. The first thing you need to do is decide on the type of material whether fiberglass, polyurethane, ABS plastic, carbon fiber and composite. Polyurethane parts, like the ones manufactured by 3dCarbon, Xenon, Couture and RK Sport, are heavier than fiberglass, not necessarily ideal for racing if weight reduction is the main objective; plus, specialized preparation is required for paint to adhere correctly and it is susceptible to warping under extreme heat. It is; however, extremely flexible, virtually unbreakable and resistant to abrasion and temperature, oil, gasoline and other solvents. Carbon fiber parts, like the one available from the renowned manufacturer Carbon Creations, are ideal for racing because of their extreme strength and light weight; plus, they come clear-coated and don't need to be painted. The significant downside to carbon fiber is its higher cost of production resulting in a more expensive product. The composite creation by Extreme Dimensions, DURAFLEX, is an excellent choice because it is a unique blend of flex resins, fiberglass and plastic that is much stronger than fiberglass and has maximum flexibility; and additionally, it comes with a black primer finish for ease of painting.

Bumping up the horsepower on your Mustang just makes sense and Late Model Performance can help you do that with PYPES’ Exhaust systems, one of the paramount manufacturers of exhaust systems on the market for price and superior quality. PYPES' Mustang exhaust products are made of stainless steel materials for quality and durability and PYPES crossover pipes include dual 409 stainless reinforcement plates at the welds where they are needed most and all pipes are mandrel bent, to allow for the maximum flow of exhaust gasses, which boosts acceleration. With the conjunctive Crossover design it is not unusual to see an increase of anywhere between fifteen and twenty-five HP. A straight path is afforded by the Open Port Exhaust when it is uncapped; however, but you still benefits from the crossover technology and can expect between ten to fifteen HP. An options that is available on this system is the PYPES PYPE Bomb which utilizes a unique louvered core resonated dual wall 304 stainless tip to give you that American Muscle Car sound but not that popping associated with other lesser kits.

The Loudmouth Exhaust by SLP Performance has transformed many cars like the CAMARO SS into modern muscle machines and you can do that too for your Ford car whether it is a CAMARO or not. The exceptional properties; such as exceptional flow characteristics, lighter weight, ease of installation, stainless steel in its entirety and hand-polished dual wall tips in addition to its incredible sound make it an easy choice when thinking about a performance exhaust system.
