    Spohn Performance's tubular k-member sets a new, higher standard of performance and quality. When we designed our k-member, we had several goals in mind. One was to provide the performance capabilities needed for the toughest race tracks, another was to provide the strength and durability required for the demands of a daily driven vehicle. Our k-member provides substantial weight savings and frees up a lot of room in the engine bay for our drag race customers, but it also provides the strength, rigidity, and durability for our road race, autox, and daily driver customers as well..... all in one package!

    Spohn's tubular k-member features gusseted a-arm mounts for maximum rigidity and side load support. Our k-members are gusseted in critical areas (over 20 locations!) to ensure that a weld never breaks. They decrease overall weight, and provide much more room for large tube headers, turbo systems, etc.

    Our k-member will accept stock a-arms, or for additional weight loss and performance enhancement we also offer tubular a-arms. Our jig was built around the factory k-member providing for an exact fit and factory exact dimensions. Every detail of the factory k-member was incorporated, including all five brake line mounts. There's no zip tying of the brake lines with our k-member.

    Build Specifications and Features:

    • 1.50 x .120 wall seamless DOM tubing one piece formed front hoop
    • 1.50 x .120 wall seamless DOM tubing a-arm mount tubes
    • 1.25 x .120 wall seamless DOM tubing rear support brace
    • OEM style button head locating pins
    • CNC cut 3/16 steel gussets in over 20 locations for maximum strength and durability
    • CNC cut and formed 3/16 steel a-arm mounts, solid welded inside and outside. Outside welds are sanded smooth to allow for a flush fit to the car, eliminate stress risers, and provide a clean and smooth professional appearance
    • All a-arm mounts are gusseted front and rear for side load strength. The slots have been lengthened to provide much more a-arm adjustment over the stock k-member. Recessed passenger's side rear a-arm mount to provide clearance for long tube headers. Rear a-arm mount boxes are offset bent just like the factory k-member for factory exact fit and finish
    • CNC cut and formed reinforced 3/16 steel factory rack mounts
    • Welded in a special built rotary jig to insure an exact fit and precision welds entirely in the flat position
    • Includes (6) new 12mm Grade 10.9 k-member mounting bolts and heavy flat washers
    • Includes (6) new flanged head motor mount bolts and flanged head steel lock nuts
    • Includes all five brake line mounts and new brake line mounting tab bolts and nuts
    • Motor mounting pads allow for the installation of 3.4L (93-95) or 3.8L (96-02) V-6 engines
    • Durable and brilliant powder coated finish in your choice of the above colors

    Spohn Tubular Tunnel Brace 1993-02 Camaro V8

    The stock tunnel brace on my Camaro was a joke. Was just a thin piece of stamped steel you can actually bend with your hand. The Spohn tunnel brace really stiffened up the chassis by itself and stopped the majority of "wiggles" associated with convertibles (before I installed the sub-frame connectors which ended all "wiggles"). I recommend this product.

    This torque arm is far better then the stock arm. I had to replace the stock because it cracked and bent. When getting this spohn arm you can clearly tell why it's so much better then the stock one. Even if your car is stock its far to dangerous to run with the factory torque arm. In fact I'd say its life threatening. Oh! and I did notice an improvement in cornering.

    I really love how easy this x-member went in and bolted to the car. The adj t/a makes pre-load a snap. The whole set up just looks sexy sittin' under there in black. The only thing I might change is the fact that there is no way to get a socket on the bolts for the trans mount to bolt it to the tailshaft, a challenge to get a wrench on it. The access holes have to be drilled out big enough to get a socket on them. Please let me know if there is a different way. I will definitely be buying more Spohn products for this dirty bird. Sub frame connectors are next. Need a good sized decal to put on the car also. (Wink Wink)
