SLP Mass Air Flow Sensor, 1998-00 LS-1 High-Flow Camaro V8.
SLP offers this larger-than-stock (85 mm) mass air flow (MAF) sensor designed for modified engines and calibrated specifically for 98 - 00 LS-1 Camaro and Firebirds as well as 97 - 00 C5 Corvette.* This lightweight composite MAF can add as much as 10 hp, via proper air flow metering due in part to the use of flow straightners and less incoming air flow restriction. The stock 75 mm MAF sensor flows only enough air to feed an engine making slightly more horsepower than stock. SLP's MAF flows enough air to support an engine producing 600 hp. This item should be considered a must have if you're looking for maximum horsepower.
