Gen 4 Aero Tail for 1998-02 Trans AM only V8.
The Gen 4 Aero Tail was designed for all 4th Generation Trans Ams that feature the factory high mount rear wing. The Aero tail adds significant downforce while transforming the looks of the Trans Am from OE to a serious performance look. The downforce added at the rear stabilizes the car at speed without adding a ton of additional drag. This is thanks to design features that capture air flow off the rear of the roof and bleed air under the wing for a more efficient affect. The wing bolts on to the original attachment points and uses the OE high mount tail light. Wiring to provide for using the OE light and plug is bonded into the wing during production.
