*Note The slight fluttering noise at idle will be eliminated with the redesigned rolled edge box tips. A pair of Pypes Race Pro Mufflers were used in this install. For a more raspy chambered muffler sound, Pypes StreetPro’s can be used.
Race Pro: Sometimes you just gotta have the best of everything. When it comes to flow, you just can't get anything better than our Race Pro Muffler. This baby features a 'straight through' path with throughput that can be 95% of straight pipe! The throaty sound is surprisingly tame considering the absence of any impedance when you look down its barrel. At idle and low rpm cruising, you will not draw much attention, but upon acceleration, bystanders lookout! The Race Pro’s aggressive sound is the result of applying a layer of stainless mesh around a unique internal perforated tube, accompanied by a healthy stuffing of basalt insulation before the unit is sealed. Highly recommended for the track where every 1/10th counts. Sound Rating = [6.0/10]
Street Pro: This is a great street/strip muffler that will maintain its rich sound qualities for the life of the muffler because there is no filler to burn off. Recommended for stock to medium modified vehicles where an aggressive sound is appreciated but not advertised. Sound Rating = [7.0/10]
Violator: The Violator is our newest muffler and flows as much air as our Race-Pro muffler but has an incredibly unique and aggressive sound! The Violator’s aggressive sound is the result of a unique internal louvered tube with mini sound deflector chambers. If you want to be noticed... this is your muffler! Sound Rating = [9.0/10]
