GTO 2004 Rear Cross Drilled and Slotted Brake Pro Rotors (Pair).

High-performance sport rotors for the Pontiac GTO by Brake Pros. These rotors incorporate Pillar Vane technology for maximum cooling and improved performance. Featuring a series of 144 diamond and teardrop pillars that greatly increase cooling efficiency and strength while reducing weight. Based on the same principal as a centrifugal pump impeller, this network of pillars increases the flow of cool air from the center of the disc to the outer edge. The turbulence created by the stream of incoming air around the pillars helps pump out the hot air, which has built up within the ventilated disc. In short the rotor disc is cooled faster and more evenly than previously possible, by up to 20%. Each Rotor is also heat treated for thermal stability much like race rotors. In addition each rotor has special heat sensing paint applied to the edge to indicate maximum disc temperatures under extreme use.
