BMR Lower Control Arms w/poly bushings 1979-1998.

Stock control arms are marginal at best. Bushing deflection combined with control arm flex creates erratic handling and inconsistent rear end stability when subjected to the added loads of performance driving. BMR control arms are built using 1-5/8" x .120" DOM tubing and utilize 1/4" thick mounting plates for a bulletproof combination. Upper control arms are available in either fixed or adjustable versions. Adjustable uppers allow "on-car" adjustability by simply loosening the jamnuts and turning the adjuster. This allows you to adjust your pinion angle without unbolting the control arm, a convenience not offered by most other companies. These adjusters are by far the strongest in the industry. Made from 1-1/8" CNC machined steel and then zinc plated for corrosion resistance, they truly are overkill! Both upper and lowers are available with either polyurethane bushings or Teflon lined spherical bearings. With our variety of choices, we have control arms that are equally at home on the street, drag strip or road coarse. Available standard in your color choice of red or black powdercoat, additional colors also available by special order.

One difference you will notice from our other control arms is the race style spherical bearings that are available on both upper and lower models. These are the highest quality, Teflon lined QA1 bearings available and we use custom, CNC machined stainless spacers that ensure full articulation without bind. This makes them great for both drag race or road race applications and they are also available with standard polyurethane bushings for the typical street car buyer.
