UMI Tubular Front Steering Brace ''Wonder Bar'' 1983-92 F-Body.

The 1983-1992 third generation steering brace, also known as the Wonder Bar, is designed to tie the front right and left subframe together. This tubular set-up bolts directly under the front sway bar, stiffening the front frame, resulting in improved handling, cornering and overall performance. The steering brace strengthens the chassis, taking stress from the steering box area which is well known as a weak area on any third generation F-Body. Steering brace is constructed of 0.250" 1018 mild steel CNC machined mounting points, 1.250" DOM steel tubing with a 0.120" wall fully MIG welded for extreme strength and lasting performance.

Installation: Direct bolt-on requires no holes to be drilled, bolts in place using OEM hardware and can be used with OEM sway bar bushings and aftermarket poly mounts. Installation time is approximately 20 minutes.
